This is a very fine, exquisitely made cigarette case, now often used for business cards - just delightful with a Stunning Green fine Guilloche enamel top - it is gold/gilt cased (plated?) probably on brass. The whole ensemble is well made and iconically Art Deco, dating c. 1930 it has survived in very nice order - it is fully engine turned to the rear and has a beautiful engraved pattern framing the enamel top - the clasps and hinges are in good order and it is "snapping shut" perfectly. It has an internal retainer, but these is somewhat tired and could probably be replaced/removed.
