Art Nouveau American Sterling Silver Ice Tongs


A very stylish pair of sterling silver ice tongs by the Whiting Manufacturing Company, in the Louis XV pattern, c.1891. Fully marked.
They measure 16cm (6 1/4") long and weigh 66g / 2.1ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage, dents or repairs and light handling wear, good and appropriate for age. There is a monogram engraved to the end. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
