Very nice oval silver entree dish with beaded border decoration and ornate cast vine and grape detail to the handle on the lid. The handle is removable with a bayonet fitting to allow the lid to be used as another dish. Hallmarked for London 1907, makers Hawksworth Eyre & Co. and the piece is free from engraving.

It measures 28.5cm (11 1/3") long, 22cm (8 5/8") wide and 14cm (5 1/2") high. It weighs 1165g/ 37.4ozt. Condition is very good with just the odd light mark appropriate for age.
