A very stylish box or case made from sterling silver with all-over engine-turned decoration. The top has a lift to open the hinged lid revealing a lavishly gilded interior, washed in gold.

The full hallmark can be found on the inside for the highly collectable Chester assay office and struck for the year 1924 the makers initials are also present for the maker J Trevitt & Sons.

A truly top-quality example in excellent condition measuring 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 1/4" thick and weighing 70 Grams / 2.25 Troy Ounces.
