Antique Sterling Silver Cigarette Box
This is a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Cigarette Box. It would be ideal to use to store small items such as antique jewellery, cuff links. It would be a great gift.
It was made by A & J Zimmerman and it’s Hallmarked for Birmingham in 1902.
The exterior is shiny Sterling Silver. It has the Hallmarks on the lid and base on one side. It has a lovely green felt base which is a bit worn but would still protect and surface fro marks from the base.
The hinge works well and the lid lifts to show a fully lined Cedar Wood interior.
The total weight is 378g.

Condition The Silver is shiny with a few small dints to the lid and sides. There’s a little tarnish in places which gives more of an antique look. One side of the lid doesn’t sit completely flush with the base although this is a very small gap. There are a couple of stains to the wood inside.
