A magnificent solid silver (900 silver) German made cigarette case with blue enamel & a sapphire cabochon thumb catch. The case is large big enough for the largest business cards,
paper money & credit cards. It is in excellent condition typically Art Deco with a strong geometric design & an attractive border of stylized foliage. It is hallmarked 900. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. Push the sapphire cabochon to activate a spring loaded catch & the case glides open.
The inner case is gilded.
This antique solid silver cigarette case measures 5 1/2" X 3 1/4" & weighs 209.4 grams.
