A real gem, this is a rare silver plated dish by the highly collectible Hukin and Heath. The domed lid opens from the middle once the handle is moved down to the side. Once open, the original glass liner is revealed.

The dish is heated by placed hot water in the bottom. I am uncertain exactly what this dish was designed for but I think probably English Muffins (Muffin Dish).

The famous Hukin and Heath mark can be found on the underside.

Excellent condition spanning 6 3/4" handle to handle the dish having a diameter measuring 5 1/4" 4" tall to top of dome or 6" to top of handle.
