Lladro
Founded in 1953 by three brothers, Juan, José and Vicente Lladró, in the village of Almàssera near Valencia Spain.
Their production at the beginning was vases, jugs etc and in 1956 they started producing the sculptures for which they are now most famous. Due to the interest in their products the company moved premises several times until eventually they moved to Tavernes Blanques in 1958. In 1969 the City of Porcelain was opened and currently over 2,000 people work there.
Lladró figurines are made of hard-paste porcelain. In 2013, Lladró goes into the lighting market with Belle De Nuit, with a collection of chandeliers, lamps and sconces.
