Midwinter Pottery
Midwinter Pottery was founded by William Robinson Midwinter in 1910. Midwinter Pottery were a manufacturer and one of the leading innovators in British tableware production in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent England. They were one of the largest potteries in England. Their success was partly due the designers and ceramicists who worked for the pottery like, Terence Conran, John Russell, Jessie Tait and Peter Scott. After a takeover of the company by 'J. & G. Meakin' in 1968 it to was bought out by Wedgwood. Midwinter pottery is highly collectable today.
