Famille Rose
Famille Rose porcelain, characterised by rose colours, usually pink and carmine although yellow and opaque white were also used. Painted in opaque overglaze on porcelain. First introduced around the end of the 1720s and influenced from European taste and demand. The best quality Famille-Rose export wares date from the Yongzheng period (1723-1735).
